Employee Training
No matter how many security measures are applied, at its core, security begins with our people.

All members of our global talent network are trained on security ethics from the U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency, with refresher courses every six months. Ensuring our team is well-educated to detect phishing and social engineering attacks minimizes the risk of account compromise or any malware or virus entering our systems.

Our global talent network members participate in security-themed courses during their mandatory attendance in Open Academy, our proprietary training program.
Legal Protection
Legal protections are essential to ensure the security and integrity of sensitive data and information.
Expanding your team to a global workforce doesn’t mean you have to release your intellectual property. Every member of our global talent network signs a Non-disclosure Agreement (NDA). Edge also offers an employer-of-record solution so that any local contracts with your remote employees transfer IP ownership to your company.
For our healthcare sector customers, we offer the option to sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) at a company level. This provides greater legal protections than if the BAA is signed by a foreign company or an employee outside the United States. In those scenarios, the ability to enforce the provisions in the BAA becomes significantly lower.

Workspaces
Remote workers have the same obligations to protect their data and information as their counterparts at the office do, and that requires private spaces for work.
Working remotely doesn’t have to mean working from home. Ideally, your remote team members should work in a dedicated office, not at their kitchen table. At Edge, we have offices in all our major city hubs, each with biometric access to ensure that only approved personnel can enter.
